PITTSBURGH POST-GAZETTE | BY KAREN KANE | 10.6.16
Rowen Lally put on her big girl pants Monday before she caught the bus to her school in McKeesport.
At 7 years old, she was too young to understand that her parents — cold and unresponsive — were dead.
But she realized she needed to change her infant sister’s diaper and give her a bottle before going to school, leaving the baby, her 3-year-old brother, and her 5-year-old brother at the family’s McKeesport home for another day — the fourth — with their deceased parents, 25-year-old Jessica Lally and 26-year-old Christopher Dilly.
