So can Pennsylvania’s often quarrelsome, Republican-controlled General Assembly and the Democratic Wolf administration put down their arms long enough in a very short fall session to do something about Pennsylvania’s horrifying epidemic of opioid abuse?
In the wake of Gov. Tom Wolf’s unusual speech to a joint session of the state House and Senate on the issue on Wednesday, the answer right now is a resounding “maybe.”
Which is still better than “No.”
